Jamie Ferguson, age 33 of Gould, formerly of Monticello, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR. She was born July 23, 1982 in Monticello to Donna Gail Collins Mizell and the late James Louis Ferguson.

She was a missionary and member of First Baptist Church of Monticello. Jamie played all sports and was UAM Boll Weevil’s greatest fan. She was a ball girl for all sports at UAM and actually went ten years without missing a UAM Cotton Blossom Softball game. She was also a professional doorkeeper at all types of functions. She was a member of the MBSF and BCM. Jamie was loved by all and had a real heart for those she came in contact with.

Survivors include her mother and step father, Donna and Randy Mizell of Gould; two brothers, Jonathan Collins and wife Ladonna and Joey Ferguson all of Gould; one sister, Angela Britt and fiancé Jeremy Maddox of Bismark; her grandmother, Flosteen Collins of Monticello; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel by Rev. Rob Leonard with burial to follow in Green Hill Cemetery.
