Joseph “Ronnie” Ronald Ryburn, age 75 of Monticello, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 at his home. He was born June 4, 1940 in Monticello to the late Robert Lee Ryburn, Sr. and Lois Morrison Ryburn.
He was co-owner and operator of Razorback Body Shop and Razorback rentals, was a United States Air Force Veteran of Vietnam era and was a member of Rose Hill Free Will Baptist Church. Ronnie was a very loving and devoted husband, father and Pap Paw. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and working in their yard. He was an avid Razorback fan. He was very faithful to his church and loved all his church family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Robin Ryburn and Jane Neill.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Gloria Coy Ryburn of Monticello; one son, Joey Ryburn and wife Becky of Monticello; one brother, Robert Lee Ryburn, Jr. and wife Martha of Monticello; one brother by choice, Larry Crutchfield and wife Marilyn of Monticello; two grandsons, Brandon Ryburn and wife Lauren of Hardy and Nicholas “Nick” Ryburn and wife Tori of Fayetteville; four great-grandchildren, Reed, Gray, Stella and Roxi, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 27 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 pm Monday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
