Clyde Gerald Shaw, age 84 of Monticello, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born in May 24, 1932 in Nashville, AR to the late Andy O’Neal Shaw,Sr. and Morgan Price Shaw.
He was the widower of Shirley Russell Shaw, a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, a self-employed auto dealer and member of the Monticello Church of Christ. He loved fishing, sports and was an avid Razorback fan. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Randall Price Shaw; five brothers, Vaughn Shaw, Paul Shaw, J.T. Shaw, Andy Shaw, Jr. and Dwight Shaw; and two nephews, Johnny Shaw and Steven Shaw.
Survivors include two stepsons, Rusty Feeser and wife Susan of Ringgold, GA and Ronnie Feeser and wife Debbie of Monticello; one nephew Andy Shaw, III of Little Rock; five nieces, Sandra Marks Adams and husband Wayne of Crossett, Deborah Shaw Akin and husband William of Crossett, Judy Shaw Mason and husband Mark of Auburn, WA, Rhonda Shaw Flemister and Mike of Monroe, LA and Johnna Shaw Courtney and husband Michael of Hot Springs; and two grandsons, Chaplain (Captain) Ron Feeser and wife Amanda of Moron, Spain and Russ Feeser of Monticello and great-grandsons, Price and Wesley.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Paul Mowrer officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Monticello Church of Christ Building Fund, 631 S. Gabbert St. Monticello, AR 71655.
