Margaret Wright Parker, age 84 of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Belle View Nursing & Rehab Facility in Monticello. She was born September 3, 1931 in Mound City, IL to the late John Wright and Myrtle Myers Wright.

She was the widow of Charles Parker, Sr., was retired from the Lever Brother Soap factory in St. Louis, MO and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Parker, Jr.; four sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include three daughters, Theresa Snuffer and husband, Darrell of Monticello, Mary Parker of Green Valley, AZ and Linda Thurman and husband Vernie of Monticello; two sons, Jesse Parker and John Parker and wife Debbie, all of Monticello; twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Larry Wilkerson officiating. Burial will be in Prosperity Cemetery in Cleveland County, AR.
