Kenneth D. Chapman, age 73 of the Beulah Community in Drew County, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born August 29, 1942 in Drew County to the late Houston Chapman and Velma Daugherty Chapman.

His wife, Marilyn Lee McManus Chapman, preceded him in death. Mr. Chapman was a retired contractor and was of the Assembly of God faith. He was a hard-working man that loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening and was faithful to his Church. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Chapman; a sister, Lavoy Place; and a cherished companion, Betty Wallis.

Survivors include one daughter, Martha Chapman Taylor of the Beulah Community; one brother, Joe Chapman and wife Inez of the Beulah Community; two grandchildren, Katie Taylor and Cody Taylor both of the Beulah Community; along with numerous extended families and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with Rev. Roger Pierce and Rev. Bobby Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery.
