Dr. James Roiger, age 75 of Monticello, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. He was born March 31, 1941 in Sleepy Eye, MN to the late Raymond Otto Roiger and Loretta Josephine Hillesheim Roiger.

He was First Chair of the School of Computer Information at UAM and was a retired United State Navy Veteran serving 21 years. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Linus Roiger and Gary Roiger.

Survivors include one brother, Wayne Roiger; and two sisters, Janice Beltrand and husband Dwight and Joleen Randall.
