Randy Carlton Newton, age 44 of Monticello, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born October 8, 1972 in Warren, AR to James Carlton Newton and Diane Walker Johns.

Randy was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and was an avid fisherman enjoying snagging on the Arkansas River. He was also a black belt in Taekwondo.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Repollet-Newton of Monticello; three children, Hannah Newton, Eric Newton and Addison Newton all of Monticello; his parents, Carlton Newton and wife Lila and Diane Johns and husband Keith all of Monticello; one sister, Tina Sims and husband Jimmy of Crossett; one brother, Thomas Rowland of Monticello; his grandmother, Ethel Newton of Monticello; three step-children, Jonathan Clancy and Stacy Repollet both of Monticello and Tiffany Clancy of Wilmar; one step-brother, Tommy Cater; two step-sisters, Doris Nesbitt and Amber Kelley; two step-grandchildren, Jace Clancy of Oregon and Addison Clancy of Wilmar; and two expectant grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Rash Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
