Janelle Vance Bayird, age 49 of Monticello, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017 at her home. She was born February 11, 1968 in Monticello, AR.

She worked at Burlington Industries for many years and was a Christian of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lexie Fowler and her grandfather, Bob Davis.

Survivors include her son, Eric Bayird of Monticello; one daughter, Tara Bayird of Monticello; her parents, Edward “Dippy” and Faye Davis Vance of Monticello; two brothers, Shannon Vance of Monticello and Wayne Vance and wife Meredith of Greenwood, MS; one sister, Tina McManus and husband Mark of Alton, MO; two half-brothers, Johnny Craig and Stephen Craig both of Monticello; one half-sister, Anna Craig of Monticello; grandmother, Bennie Jean Causey Tucker of Monticello; two grandfathers, James Craig of KY and Sherrill Fowler of Monticello; one step-sister, Deanna Maybry of Collins; one step-brother, Terry Hackney of Collins; the father of her children, Mark Bayird of Monticello; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Rash Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
