Genevieve Marie Fields Harris, age 94 of Monticello passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Woods Nursing and Rehab Facility in Monticello. She was born in Kansas on November 29, 1922 to the late Lewis and Nora Fields.

She was the widow of Delbert V. Harris, a homemaker and was a Jehovah’s Witness. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Elaine Harris; a granddaughter, Amy Harris and a daughter-in-law, Janet Akines Harris.

Survivors include one son, Bob Harris and Renee of Monticello; two granddaughters, Angie Foshee and Cara Harris both of Monticello; one great-granddaughter, Caralyne Marie Donaldson of Monticello; one sister, Elner Spinks of Rogers, AR and one brother, John Fields of Mississippi.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Green Hill Cemetery, with Scott Roberts officiating. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
