Horace Junior, age 77 of Monticello passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Belle View Nursing and Rehab in Monticello. He was born on July 12, 1940 in Lacey Arkansas to late Robert and Verlie Miller Junior. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Junior.

Horace confessed his life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Promise Land Baptist Church. He attended Lacey public school and graduated from Drew High School in the class of 1959. He retired from Georgia Pacific Paper Mill after 41 years of service.

On March 2, 1963 he was united in marriage to Mary Louise McNeary and to their union three children were born.

He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Gregory and Marvin Junior of Monticello; one daughter, Reginia Junior of Crossett; one brother, Kenny Ray Junior of Lacey; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Burial will be in Lacey Cemetery. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
