Lillie Early Ashmore, age 89 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Woods Nursing and Rehab Facility in Monticello. She was born March 29, 1928 in Okemah, OK to the late Henry Houston Early and Ruby Newell Early.

She was a retired beautician and was a Christian of the Presbyterian faith. In addition to her parents, she was also was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Ashmore; five brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include one son, Randy Ashmore and wife Sandy of Monticello; one daughter, Cathie Swartz of Yuba City, CA; three grandchildren, Billye Zornek and husband Kevin of Pine Bluff, Jeff Swartz and Scott Swartz both of CA; eight great-grandchildren; and a very special great granddaughter that she got to spend a lot of time with, Kaci Zornek.

Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Larry Wilkerson officiating. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
