Sandra “Sandy” Brown Craig, age 56 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Baptist Health Care in Little Rock. She was born January 4, 1961 in Houston, Texas to Thomas Brown of Monticello and the late Etta Chadwick Brown Hughes.

She was a homemaker and was a Christian of the Baptist faith. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Brown and Melonie Hughes.

Survivors include one son, Steven Craig of Wilmar; one daughter, Anna Craig of Monticello; four grandchildren, Allison, Jayden, Taylor and MacKinna; her father, Thomas Brown of Monticello; four brothers, Robby Brown and wife Karen of The Colony, TX, Jerry Brown and wife Judy of Monticello, Jerry Hughes of Rison and Bobby Hughes; four sisters, Wanda Chapman and husband Tim of Monticello, Rhonda Brusenhan and husband Jody of Beaumont, TX, Lisa Brown of Corinth, TX and Mary Withers and husband Mark of Monticello; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Lone Sassafras Cemetery. Visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to service. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
