Thomas Edward Brown, age 82 of Monticello, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born October 2, 1935 in Center, TX to the late William Lawton Brown and Mary Estelle Williams Brown. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two daughters, Sandy Craig of Monticello and Brenda Brown of Newport TN; and one brother, Roger Brown of Pine Prairie, LA.

He was a retired rig manager for Pool Arabia in Saudi Arabia where he worked for many years, a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of Enon Baptist Church. His hobbies included fishing and doing crossword puzzles with his great grandson, Jerred.

Survivors include two sons, Robby (Karen) Brown of The Colony, TX; Jerry (Judy) Brown of Monticello; three daughters, Wanda (Tim) Chapman of Monticello; Lisa Brown of Corinth, TX; Rhonda (Jody) Brusenhan of Kansas City, KS; one brother, Johnny Brown of Monticello; two sisters, Nelda Tyler and Sandy Cowley both of Texas; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2018 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow at Lone Sassafras Cemetery with Bro. Kyle Bryan officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
