Connie Edwards Swain, age 70 of Monticello, passed away March 5, 2018 at her home. She was born July 11, 1947 in Dumas, AR to the late John Oscar Edwards and Ola Mae Hacker Edwards.

She was retired from Burlington Industries and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two sons, David Swain and Danny Swain and wife Lisa all of Monticello; five grandchildren, Laura Swain, John Swain, Heath Swain, Tye Swain and Whitney Gifford all of Monticello; three great-grandchildren, Haigen and Hadlyen Gifford and Beaux Swain; one brother, Johnny Edwards and wife Sondra of Monticello; one sister, Cindy Stringfellow; and several nephews.
