Jo Ann Jones Vest age 74 of Ponchatoula, LA passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Baptist Healthcare Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born August 24, 1939 in Monticello, Arkansas the daughter of the late Hubert Jones and Bertha "Bertie" Roberts Jones.

She was a retired secretary for Red House Baptist Church in Richmond, KY, a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Hammond, LA. She was a 1957 graduate of Drew Central High School and was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Lee Gibson.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Donald Vest of Ponchatoula, LA; one son, Kevin Vest of Hammond, LA; one granddaughter, Brittany Vest of San Marcos, TX; one grandson, Kevin Wayne Vest II of Mt. Vernon, KY; one sister, Phyllis Jones Gibson of Selma, Arkansas, numerous nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends.
