He was a welder with White's Industrial Service and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pennie White Sanders Cotham, his father, Keith Cotham, maternal grandparents, William and Jean Derryberry, paternal grandparents, Van and Jerry Van Cleave Cotham, two uncles, Van Cleave Cotham and Price Cotham. Rusty enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and gardening with his grandchildren.
Survivors include three daughters, Candice Cotham of Monticello, Heather Terry and husband Chuck of Rison and Kerryn Henderson and husband Edward of Pine Bluff; his mother, Melba Cotham Christy of Monticello; one brother, Brad Cotham of Monticello; one sister, Tina Cotham Davis and husband Steve of Rock Springs; five grandchildren, Robbie Terry, Rebecca Terry and C. J. Terry, all of Rison and Hayden and Joshua Henderson of Pine Bluff, numerous aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be 10:00 am Monday at Mt. Zion Cemetery at Rison. Visitation 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
