Gladys Louann Waldrup, age 89 of Monticello, passed away, Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Woods Nursing & Rehab in Monticello. She was born June 16, 1924 in Desha County, AR to the late Noah Joshua Waldrup and Ozie Myrtle Jones Waldrup.

She was retired from Burlington Industries, member of VFW Women's Auxiliary and has been a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 36 years. She loved cooking and taking care of her family. Gladys was also preceded in death by one brother, N.D. Waldrup; a brother-in-law, Bobby Earl Tucker; and a nephew, Raymond Earl Tucker.

Survivors include a sister, Leta Marlene Tucker; a sister-in-law, Alice Waldrup; five nieces and nephews and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14 at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Dodson officiating. Arrangements are by Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
