She was retired from Burlington Industries, member of VFW Women's Auxiliary and has been a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 36 years. She loved cooking and taking care of her family. Gladys was also preceded in death by one brother, N.D. Waldrup; a brother-in-law, Bobby Earl Tucker; and a nephew, Raymond Earl Tucker.
Survivors include a sister, Leta Marlene Tucker; a sister-in-law, Alice Waldrup; five nieces and nephews and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14 at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Dodson officiating. Arrangements are by Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
