She was a retired sales clerk and a member of First Assembly of God in Monticello. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Snape and Rose Ida Lindo Snape and was preceded in death by one son, Derrell Allan Stephenson and one daughter, Teresa Denise Stephenson.
Survivors include her husband, Winfred "Steve" Stephenson of Monticello; three sons, Carl W. Stephenson and wife, Diana of Longview, TX, Howard Edward Stephenson and wife, Karen of Pine Bluff and Robert Bryan Stephenson and wife, Jan of Monticello; one brother, Howard Lindo of Bermuda; three sisters, Rosemary Chestnut of Conway, SC, Mable Durraugh of Needles, CA and Ann Scott of Louisville, KY; seven grandchildren, BJ, Jesse, Rebecca, Will, Samantha, David and Lynn; and eight great grandchildren.
