She was a homemaker, care giver, mother, sister, grandmother and friend and was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Little Bo; one sister, Mary Ellen Fowler; and one brother, Harvey David Hill.
Survivors include her soul mate, Melvin Simpson of Monticello; one son, Christopher Simpson and wife Jennifer of Hermitage; three daughters, Tamara McCoy of Monticello, Melissa Dye of Dallas, TX and Tiffanie Strickland and husband Gary of Monticello; four brothers, Rev. Ed Hill of Warren, Carl Hill of Humnoke, John Hill of Monticello and Jack Hill of Selma; two sisters, Margie Simpson of Monticello and Patsy Clontz of Harrell; six grandchildren, Raymond, Savannah, Monica, Basen, Peythen and Tanner; one great-granddaughter, Piper; and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Family Worship Center in Warren, AR with burial to follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Monticello. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.

Your mom was a very special lady and we visited at the school a lot when she came for parent conferences. Also her parents worked for my husband and the school district . All of them were hard workers and very dependable. I would have been there for her visitation but I am in North Little Rock with my husband who had back surgery.
