She was the widow of Gurvis L. Johnson, Jr. and was retired from Burlington Industries. She and her late husband, Gurvis attended Ladelle Baptist Church, but both had their membership at Second Baptist Church in Little Rock. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Sue Barnett and a daughter, Paula Sue Johnson.
Survivors include two daughters, Elloise Johnson Foshee Hales and husband Jimmy and Deborah Johnson Arrington all of Monticello; three grandsons, Michael Foshee and wife Angie of Georgia, Brian Foshee and Bret Arrington, II of Monticello; two great-grandsons, Marke and Johnny; and one great granddaughter, Jaci.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Ladelle Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
