I served in the armed forces.
Jesse Edwin Parker, age 63 of Monticello, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 in Monticello from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Warren, AR on May 10, 1953 to the late Charles Parker and Margaret Wright Parker.

He was a United States Army Vietnam War veteran, a truck driver and was a Catholic. Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Parker, Jr.

Survivors include one son, Frank Parker of St. Louis, MO; one daughter, Kimberly Parker of St. Louis, MO; one brother, John Parker and wife Debbie of Monticello; one grandson, Parker Rhodes; three sisters, Theresa Snuffer and husband Darrell of Monticello, Linda Thurman and husband Vernie of Monticello and Mary Parker of Tucson, AZ; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
