He was a welder and a Christian. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry, Terry and Gary Ward.
Survivors include two sons, Mathew Ward of Tulsa, Ok and Ryan Ward of New York; two brothers, Tony Ward of Star City and Lynn Ward of Fayetteville; one sister, Gwynn Tarwater of Osage,OK; three nephews, Shawn Blue, Robert Wallace Ward and Gary Ward; two nieces, Tara Ward and Amanda Blue; one great-nephew, Kaleb Hill; and several cousins, relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial in Pleasant Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
