C. E. Williams, age 74 of the Green Hill Community near Wilmar, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born February 3, 1942 in Warren, AR to the late Clyde Edward Williams and Otha Mae Parker Williams.

He was a retired mill wright, retiring from AOP Arkansas Oregon Pneumatics and was a member of Wilmar Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and loved his work. He played the guitar and loved singing in Church and other places and was dedicated in serving his Lord. He was a family man, was a loving husband, daddy and pap paw. C. E. was a kind and gentle man and was a friend to many and will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Jondalyn McDougal and her husband, Bobby.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, JoAnn Watts Williams of Green Hill; two sons, Charles E. Williams and wife Tina and Shane Williams both of Green Hill; one daughter, Cindy Williams Hicks and husband Kevin of Green Hill; two brothers, David Williams of Hot Springs and Johnny Williams of Warren; two sisters, Sharon Raley of Warren and Debbie Green of Hot Springs; five grandchildren, L. J., Ely, Hank and wife Amanda, Teri and husband Bud and Matthew; three great-grandchildren, Justice, Denton and Raylan.

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 and Wilmar Baptist Church. Arrangements by Stephenson-Dearman. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.

E. was one of those unique individuals that could only come from Warren and although he did not live there in his later years, he was as uniquely Warren as they come.
