ME AND MY LATE HUSBAND KNEW MRS. BERTIE FROM THE TIMES SHE VISITED OUR CHURCH. EVEN THOUGH SHE MAY HAVE EXPERIENCED DIFFICULTIES IN HER LIFE, SHE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE AND SHE NEVER COMPLAINED. IT WAS APPARENT SHE LOVED ATTENDING CHURCH. HER SWEET SPIRIT WILL BE REMEMBERED. DURING HER LAST YEARS, A WONDERFUL GRANDSON AND HIS WIFE PROVIDED EXCELLENT CARE FOR HER AND ALWAYS TOOK HER TO CHURCH.SHE SEEMED TO BE HAPPIER THAN WE HAD EVER SEEN HER. I LOVED HER AND WILL NOT FORGET HER LOVELY PRESENCE.
