Fleta Madden Collins, age 71 of Monticello passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Belleview Nursing and Rehab Facility in Monticello. She was born October 3, 1946 in Plain Dealing, Louisiana to Leon Madden and Gertrude Warren Madden.

She was the widow of Cecil Collins, a retired seamstress and of the Assembly of God Faith. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Steve Collins, one sister, Alice Etheredge and one brother, Milton Madden.

Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Susie Henry of Monticello, Macel Kuhn of Bryant and Flosteen Collins of Bismark; two brothers-in-law, Doyle Collins of Monticello and Larry Etheridge also of Monticello; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with Rev. Buddy Lemons officiating. Burial to follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
