He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by five brothers, Jace Forrest, Willie Forrest, J.D Forrest, Dickson Forrest and Earl Lee Forrest; and three sisters, Christine Jackson, Lou Ella Gibson and Velma McNeese.
Survivors include one brother, W.T. Forrest of the Coleman community; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Campground Cemetery with Military Honors with Rev. Buddy Lemons officiating. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
