She was a retired school teacher, member of the Retired Teachers Association, past-president of the Drew County Extension Homemakers Club and a member of the Drew Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Stella was a member of Rose Hill Freewill Baptist Church where she was a member of the Churches Women's Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, James Elmo Judkins of Monticello; one son, Tommy Judkins and wife Bettye of Monticello; one daughter, Brenda Chisom and husband Raymond of Monticello; five grandchildren, Pam Barnett and husband Billy, Eric Chisom and wife Stephanie, James Judkins and wife Leslie, Daniel Judkins and wife Heidi and Thomas Judkins; and fifteen great-grandchildren, Corey, Kailey Raye, Brodey, Kaitlyn, Ethan, Lindsey, Whitney, Luke, Hezekiah, Moriah, Josiah, Judah, Micah, Boaz and Isaac.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dwayne Roper and Rev. James Judkins officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
