Charles Kenneth Hodo, age 64 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born November 17, 1954 in Chicago, IL. He was the son of the late Gladys B. Pate Sanchez (step-father, Willie Sanchez).

He was a laborer for a tow boat company and was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Carroll Hodo of Monticello; children, Brandon Tharp of IN, Ashley Gonzalez and husband Fabian of IN, Leslie McCool of Monticello, Brad Hodo and wife Jackie of Monticello, Joshua Myers and Joseph Myers both of MS, and Lacey Hodo of Monticello; grandchildren, Tyler Tharp of Chicago, IL, Paige Tharp of IN, Addalyn Tharp of Chicago, IL, Christian Gonzalez, Anthony Gonzalez, Mia Gonzalez all of IN, Brad Hodo, Jr., Ethan Hodo, Annabella Hodo, Logan Hodo and Geneliz Hodo all of Monticello and Jayden Doyle of Monticello; and a fond niece and nephew, Betty Jo Hodo and husband Parrales and William Hodo.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Visitation 10:00-2:00 p.m. prior to service time. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
