David Wayne Horn, Sr., age 76 of the Cominto Community in Drew County, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born October 11, 1943 in Boydell, AR to the late Florence Virginia McGathy Horn and the late Hamp Horn.

He was retired semi-truck driver for UPS and was a proud member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was a beloved husband, father, paps and friend.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Shirley McCurry Horn of Cominto; one son, David Horn, Jr. and wife Sheryl of Cominto; one daughter, Teresa Horn Fowler and husband Bob of Cominto; his step-mother, Helen Byrd Horn of Pine Bluff; two brothers, Frank Horn and wife Nellie of Georgia and Kenneth Horn and wife Pat of Pine Bluff; five grandchildren, Morgan Horn Cheramie and husband Arron, Lauren Horn Richard and husband Corey, Kyle Fowler and wife Christine, Heather Fowler Henley and husband Josh and Ryan Fowler and wife Cheyenne; twelve great-grandchildren, and his beloved German Shepherd, Lola.
