Lucy was a quiet reserved lady that loved the Lord with all of her heart. Lucy had faith in her Lord and never complained about her situation. Lucy is rejoicing now in the presence of the Lord and would want us all to rejoice and be prepared for our exit from this world. I really miss her and I think of her each day especially when I am sitting in my swing looking at the sky. I am not weeping for my sister in the Lord, I am so happy for her. I pray for her daughters and grandchildren that will miss her so badly.

It was with great sadness that I learned of Lucille's(Lucy) passing. I first met Lucille in elementary school at the old W.C. Whaley Elementary in Monticello. We corresponded since about 2008 and met again at the nursing home in Monticello where she would visit my mother. Lucille is an inspiration and will be missed by all who knew her.

    Dear Julie and family,
We are so sorry to hear of your mothers passing but praise the Lord at knowing where she is. I enjoyed the times we visited together at the nursing home where she nurtured a resident there out of Christian love. I will miss her...

My favorite thought for all of God's best......
"JUST THINK OF STEPPING ON SHORE AND FINDING IT HEAVEN.

OF TOUCHING A HAND AND FINDING IT GOD'S

OF BREATHING NEW AIR AND FINDING IT CELESTIAL.

AND WAKING UP IN GLORY AND FINDING IT HOME."

Dear Julie and Jeanie, Aunt Lucy and I did a lot of things together and had a lot of good times; even if it we was just sitting in the swing drinking tea we enjoyed each others' company. I have a lot of good memories with her. I will surely miss her. Love You

    Julie, Jeanie and Family,

So sorry to hear the news about Lucy.
We had so many laughs and memories together.
She was always so proud of her "girls".

We should all follow her example.

She was always softly singing On Eagle's Wings.
She will certainly be missed, but she has truly left us
    on eagle's wings!

No one will ever replace Lucy, but oh how happy she is now!. Can't you just see her?!!

    God Bless

julie & family we were shocked at lucy's death. we did not know she was even sick. we think of lucy as family. she was always so pretty. the last time i talked to her was in wal-mart. she was talking about her grandbaby's. she was laughing and talking and seem to be so happy. that is the way i will remember her. even with her health she went to visit so many people. she came when daddy passed away. it gives me peace of mind to know that she is with our wonderful god. even though we miss her, we all know we will see her again. a great mom, a great friend and showed gods wonderful love untill the end.
