Linda Kay grew up as a country girl and lived on Rabb Road in the Myhand/ Coleman community. She loved needlework and was always looking for a blue ribbon at the county fair each fall. Linda was a true believer in Christ and was an avid student of the scripture. Linda attended church faithfully with her mother at the Church of Christ in Monticello.
She grew up knowing her calling was always to serve others. She received her C.N.A. license and spent many years caring for the elderly.
Linda spent her later years living at the Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was one of their longest-term residents and really thrived on meeting and visiting with all the residents, staff, and visitors. She loved to play BINGO and kept everyone updated on all the facility news. She was a resident and staff favorite.
Linda is survived by her dad, Tom Rabb, Jr. of Monticello; a very special aunt, Janie Rabb Fuller of Haymarket, VA; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her church family.
There will be a private burial service at Rose Hill Cemetery and a celebration of life service will be scheduled in the spring of 2021. In lieu of flowers, please send a memorial to the Church of Christ in Monticello. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
