I was saddened to learn today of Alvin's passing in December. Visiting with Alvin and Marie was always a highlight of trips to Arkansas with my mom, Shirley Chambers (Harper), who passed away in March of 2020. Alvin and mom were classmates at Drew Central and would always get together to recount old stories. Always quick to a smile or laughter, our lives were made richer by knowing him. My heartfelt condolences go out to Marie and the rest of Alvin's extended family.

  13. Robbie & Karen Beck Harrington
I've known Alvin about all my life. He welcomed me into his family like he did my sister when she married Paul. My husband Robbie worked with Alvin for three years at Particle Board and said he was a pleasure to work for and with. He always had a smile on his face everywhere you saw him. He told me when my Daddy died that it would be alright, just to let Jesus take care of you. So to the family I will tell you to let Jesus comfort you. It won't be easy but I promise you all will be ok. We love yall Karen and Robbie.
