Jimmy Laron Hood, age 68 of Monticello, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020, at Baptist Med Center in North Little Rock, AR. He was born March 29, 1952, in Drew County, AR to the late Mack Hood and Nola Mae Roberson Hood.

He was a retired law enforcement officer, a Mason and was of the Pentecostal faith. Jimmy's hobbies included hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Aaron Hood, Robin Hood and Johnny Hood; and two sisters, Norma Sivils and Reatha Wright.

Survivors include one son, Jimmy Labon Hood of Monticello; one sister, Mackie "Tete" Boyd of Monticello; three grandchildren, Mack Shaylon Hood and Savannah Jean Hood of Fayetteville and Emma Marie Hood of Centerton; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
