She attended Mt. Tabor Baptist Church at an early age. She worked as caretaker for many years around her hometown before becoming employed for Burlington Area Rugs in 1978. She retired in 2000 to begin caring for her sister. Pearl was a very loving, caring and giving person. She was a wonderful sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
She is preceded in death by her two nieces Kathy Nash and Leslie Webb.
She leaves to cherish two brothers, Billy Webb of Little Rock, L.W. (Cathy) Webb of Wilmar, AR; three sisters, Irene (Johnny) Walton, Chris (Hugh) Arrington all of Monticello, and Bertha Webb of Wilmar; four nephews, Fred Brown of Hot Springs whom she raised as her son, Michael Merritt, Rodney Webb, Zorri McKinley; five nieces, Debra McDaniels, Sharlet King, Rashanda White, Vanessa Powell, Dannielle Steen; a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and two very special people Bessie Christian and Carolyn Matlock.
