He attended Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church and gave his life to God at an early age. He graduated from Monticello High School in 2007. Lionel was full of life and always willing to help anyone in need. He was a foreman at Tank Connection Solutions and was a United States Marine where he trained in Radio Communications. He also worked in various other jobs; Piggly Wiggly, Mad Butcher, painter at Sentinel Manufacturing and supervisor at Green Source Recycling.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Amber Michelle Carr of Clarksville; three sons, Kendrick, Brailon and Zayden; one daughter, Keirstyn Carr all of Clarksville; his mother, Sylvia Carr of Wilmar; one sister, Silva V. Carr; two nephews, Quenterius and Kentrell; a compassionate cousin, Angelia Avery; and multiple aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who were like his family.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. Burial with military honors will be in Oakland Cemetery in Monticello. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
