She was a fork lift operator for Hood Packaging and a member of The Lighthouse Church in Warren, AR. Karen loved her church work where she lead a Children's Church for seven years. She also loved to travel and spend time with her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, Althea Smith and Cindy Smith.
Survivors include her mother and father, Garry and Barbara Smith of Monticello; one sister, Lora Gardner and husband L.R. of Hot Springs; two brothers, Stephen Smith and wife Dawn and Jason Smith all of Monticello; her nieces and nephews, Brittney Michelle, Joey Gardner (Corey), Jessica Kelliher (Jacob), Nicholas Aaron Smith, Jennifer Gardner, Jordan Gardner and Tessa Gardner; her great nieces and nephews, Lexi, Kaylee, Emma, Paisley, Caleigh, Eva, Raven and Milo; and her grandfather, William H. Headd of Benton, MO.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Big Creek Cemetery in Houston, MO with Rev. Ralph Hebblethwaite officiating.
