Robert White, age 92, passed away April 24, 2021, at his home in Mesquite, TX. He was born May 26, 1928, in Fountain Hill, Arkansas, to the late Robert Lee and Wretha Doss White. He was married to Lois Irene Lee, who was his partner in life and they recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. She was a major support in his ministry in many areas. He spent his life serving Christ. He pastored two Assembly of God churches in Texas and two in Arkansas. He was known as a man of faith. He was ordained as a minister in 1962 in Houston, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Daphne "Dibbs" White.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Debra Walker and husband Ron, Mary Suarez and husband Aksel, and Jonna White; three grandchildren, Sean Walker, Brent Walker, and Danielle McEwan; five great-grand children; and one sister, Claudia Jean White.
Graveside service with Miltary honors will be Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Lacey Cemetery.
