Mrs. Grubbs was predeceased by her parents, Coyt Gunter and Eunice Powell Gunter. She was also predeceased by her husband of fifty-six years, Floy R. Grubbs and her son, Robert F. Grubbs.
She is survived by her son, James M. "Mike" Grubbs, her daughter-in-law, Donna G. Grubbs, and grand daughter Shelby Wren Katherine Grubbs, her daughter-in-law, Rainelle W. Grubbs, brother, L. C. Gunter, and his wife Donna. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Lola Funderburg, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and several cousins.
Her graveside funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. at Campground Cemetery, on Thursday, May 6, 2021. The funeral will be officiated by Bro. Mark Estes, her nephew. There will be a light lunch at the cemetery pavilion provided after.
