He was an electrical contractor where he was Owner/Founder of Marshall Electric Company. George enjoyed tending to his cows, hunting, fishing and taking his antique cars to car shows. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Lynn Marshall; and a sister, Frances Fleming.
Survivors include one sister, Edith Kemp of Sterlington, LA; one brother, David Marshall (Betty) of Crossett; two step-sons, Michael Goad (Stephanie) and Shane Marter (Dawn) all of Monticello; three grandsons, Aaron Goad (Kassidy), Hunter Goad and Easton Marter; one great granddaughter, Gabbie Lynne Goad; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
