Cabot, AR Thursday, March 3, 2022 Just a few weeks ago I made a post in a forum across our company about a this great AmeriCAN! Mrs. Burgess was my 5th grade teacher in 1981. Still today (over 40 years later) she is remembered for taking the time to teach children the Preamble of the US Constitution. She held each of us accountable to recite it for a grade and while we were committing it to memory she was laying the foundation for future AmeriCANs. I served 30 years in the United States Air Force and have a tremendous love for God, my family, Our great nation, and Our wonderful symbol of freedom and hope to many...the AmeriCAN flag. I attribute some of that to Mrs. Burgess; she lived a life of being a great example and took her role as part of "We the People" very seriously. Her impact will live on for many generations...she made a difference...the world needs more AmeriCANs like Mrs. Burgess.Gloria Schwab
