He leaves behind a trail of love and memories for his mother, Sandy Parker and her husband, Jimmy of Athens, TX; his brother, Kevin Jones of Little Rock, AR; his uncle Steve Harper, wife Sherry of Chandler, TX, and his special friend, Lesa Colby of Monticello, AR. Wesley's early departure was preceded by his father, Clinton Jones of Atlanta, GA, and a host of guiding stars; his grandparents, Clinton and Lucille Jones, Sr. and Ermon and Shirl Harper, as well as his uncles, Barry Harper and Mike Jones.
A proud alumnus of a high school in Powder Springs, GA, Wesley never lost his childlike wonder for the world around him. A true outdoorsman, he could often be found with a fishing rod in one hand and an arrowhead in the other, always on the lookout for the next big catch or find, alongside his trusty band of friends.
The final curtain call will be held at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home, February 2, 2024, at noon where the staff is navigating the arrangements with the same care and dedication Wesley showed in his quest for the perfect outdoor escapade.
Wesley's tale may have concluded, but his stay will be retold with a smile and the occasional eye roll. In lieu of flowers, go outside, find a good fishing spot, and cast a line in his memory. It's what he would have wanted. A Go Fund Me account has been set up under his name.
