He worked various jobs around Monticello including Dura Craft Boat Company, Burlington Industries, along with owning Walker truck driving and mobile home movers. Dale was of the Baptist faith and loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His passion was raising his family along with being a loving husband, dad and grandfather. Dales's hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping with his family, building things and going on vacation to the ocean. A few of the places he loved were Biloxi, MS in the summer, Kentucky in the winter months, Lake Degray and Hot Springs in the summer. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Dale Walker, Jr.; a granddaughter, Haven Mosier; a sister, Wanda Walker; and two brothers, Frankie Walker and Larry Walker.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rita Walker of Lake Village; two daughters, Traci Walker and Cadence Walker; one son, Aden Walker; a granddaughter, Katlynn Walker; two grandsons, Dayton Mosier and Dustin Walker; one great-granddaughter, Ja'Caiyah Dunmore; three brothers, Glen Walker, Paul Walker and Ronnie Walker; and four sisters, Diane Johns, Brenda Nickell, Pam Lillian and Gloria Ray Farr.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2024, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Justin Morphis officiating. There will be a visitation Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery. You can sign Dale's guestbook registry on this page.
