I have known Bro. Davis for over 50-years, long enough he and I were young enough that we had a foot-race which he won because my legs out ran my body. I crashed and he burned me bad. He enjoyed giging me about it from that time on.
He was an amazing man of God, father, and husband. As a Christian and a Pastor he always reflected his Savior. He had to have preached 100’s if not thousand’s of sermons but his best and most memorable sermon was in the life he lived.
He has now heard the words we all long one day to hear, “ well done good and faithful servant”. I am a richer person because I knew him and will never forget him and his dear wife, Sis Martha, or his name for her “Honey”.
Prayers for the family and loved ones.

Condolences to all of Bro Davis’ family. Bro and Sis Davis were pastors that loved beyond what words could ever express and truly lived Gods example and love. I am so glad we have the assurance of heaven and that he is now pain free and worshiping at the feet of Jesus. Praying for you in the days ahead that God comforts you in your loss.
