She worked in upholstery along with being employed with Dura Craft Boats and War Eagle Boats. Cora was a Baptist and enjoyed growing flowers, fishing and camping. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Gardner; and siblings, J.C., Zola Bee, G.W., Shady Lee and Dolly Mae.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Piper of Monticello; five children, Bobby Sivils of Monticello, Charles E. Kelley of Warren, David Kelley of Monticello, Judy Howard of Monticello and Connie Johns of Lake Village; along with eleven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2024, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. There will be a visitation from 12 noon - 2:00 p.m. preceding the funeral service. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery. You can sign Cora's guestbook registry on this page.
