Cordell is survived by his brother, Raymond Stewart of Arkadelphia; a son, Lynn Stewart of Springdale; two daughters, Della Stewart Paulson of Clarkston, WA and Angela Stewart of Monticello; and two grandsons, Drew and Cory Stewart both of Springdale.
After graduating from high school, Cordell was drafted into the United States Army where he proudly served in Korea. He retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company where he worked many years as a service repairman. Throughout his life, Cordell enjoyed riding motorcycles, restoring old cars and trucks, camping, working in his yard and having coffee with his buddies. He was a devoted and wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was an active member of the Monticello Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 16, 2024, at the Monticello Church of Christ with Paul Mowrer and Joe Moore officiating. There will be a visitation after the funeral service from 11:00-12:00 at the church. A private family burial will be held in Oakland Cemetery.
