I am at a loss for words to hear this news. I interviewed Sharon initially for her job @ LHC. I retired, but came back part time 2 yrs. later & She became my mentor. We became fast friends & talked at length many times. She was hilarious, kind & a wealth of knowledge in all things nursing & life. Her laugh was contagious , her helpfulness immeasurable & she will be missed greatly. My prayers & condolences to Charlie & her family. It is just a temporary absence, but an unexpected & undesired one. May the God of all Glory bring comfort & peace til we meet again.

Sharon was one of kind. I met her when she was my dad’s hospice nurse. She was so compassionate and knowledgeable. I then worked with her for a few years in Hospice. She became a dear friend. I am so saddened by her passing. I know heaven is celebrating her coming home. RIP my friend until we meet again.

I have worked with Sharon for the past four years she as we worked with each other we became best friends. Less than a year ago I went through a terrible illness and even though I live in Kentucky and she was in Arkansas Sharon was there with me throughout the six months illness, she kept me motivated and kept me from focusing on all the bad stuff. Sharon was a wonderful friend. I told her I thought of her not as a friend, but as a sister. I am so sorry, sad, and heartbroken that she is gone, but I believe she is in a place where she is happy, and free from her sickness. My heart aches for Charlie and her family.
I know that Sharon is resting peacefully and she’s healthy forever more.
I will miss you my sister and I will never forget you. You always made me laugh even in the worst of times. Until we meet again. I love you sister.
    Earth’s loss is heavens gain.

I have worked with Ms. Sharon as long as she has been with POC. She was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. I was completely shocked when I found out what had happened. I worked with her a few weeks ago when I covered the overnight shift. She was always so full of life. She would share crafting ideas with me outside of work. The whole department is completely heartbroken that she is no longer with us. Sending love and prayers to her loved ones.
