She was a sales associate in the floral department at Wal Mart and a Baptist. She was the daughter of the late James Earl Yates and Flossie McCormack Yates Crews.
Survivors include her husband, James McCorkle of Monticello; one son, Timothy McCorkle of Monticello; one daughter, Rhoda Ann McCorkle of Monticello; one sister, Loda Burnett of Malvern; one grandson, Jay Kulbeth of Monticello; four granddaughters, Nikole Kulbeth, Lacey Reed, Sierra Reed and Sidney Reed, all of Monticello.
