Terry Layne Courtney, 52, of Monticello, formerly of Hermitage, died February 8, 2011 at Drew Memorial Hospital. He was born November 29, 1958 in Warren to the late Jerry Allen and Rose Haygood Courtney. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Courtney.

Terry was an electrician for Tyson Foods and a member of Eagle Lake Crossroads Baptist Church in Hermitage.
Survivors include one son, Mack Courtney of Baton Rouge, LA; one daughter, Jennifer Courtney of Hermitage; one brother, Jerry Dewayne Courtney and wife Rita of Hermitage and many other relatives and friends.
