Today was a very hard day for me, I talked with one of the nurses that was at the Bradley county medical center when they brought my lovely sister in, she is also a friend of the family, her name is Kathy Hall, she said that my sister had a glow about her that she had never seen before, as if she was watching over them, and saying it is going to be alright, I'm on my way home. The look on my sisters face when we saw her was pleasant as if she was just in a deep sleep. I know we will miss her and never forget her, but she is in a better . She was a wonderful person, and lord knows she loved her family, I am so glad that on that Sunday we had a wonderful time at Church with our mother, Nancy wasn't my half sister she was my big sister, that took care of me, Kathy and Kevin. Sis, I love you and will never forget you.

I first met Nancy a few years ago when I was in nursing school. I remember watching her working and was thinking " I want to be like that when I get out in the real world". Since then I have enjoyed working with her from time to time over the past 5-6 years on 3NE. I could always joke with her and Lord knows she do it right back to ya. She always looked like an angel wearing that white. Prayers are sent for the family.

i met nancy uams even though i worked on f4 when she cooked on sundays she would always say baby you are welcomed to come eat, which by the way was soooooo good! i send my blessing to nancy kids, grandkids, aunts, uncles my blessings go out to you all.But i know nancy would say don't grieve for me,for now i'm free.i'm following the path god led for me i took his hand when i heard him call,i turned my back and left it all,i could not stay another day,to laugh,to love,to work or play, tasks left undone must stay that way i found that peace at the close of day,if my pardon has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy,a friendship shared a laugh a kiss yes these things i too will miss, but not burdened with times of sorrow-i wish you the sunshine of tommorrow my lifes been filled i savored much, good friends, good times and loved ones's touch ,perhaps my time seemed all to brief, dont lengthen it now with undone grief, lift up your heart and share with me -god wanted me now he set me free.we all love you MS.NANCY AND MAY GOD BLESS YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY!!!

Nancy will be greatly missed! What a blessing and pleasure it was to know her and work with her at UAMS. She had a bigger than life personality....always a smile, always a laugh, and always a giver. She provided many wonderful home cooked meals to the staff just because she loved to cook and see people enjoy it. She was always talking about her Daddy. She definitely was a Daddy's girl. 79. Wanda Morris
I considered Nancy a friend who had great spirit and compassion. Opon seeing her recently I immediately shouted out " I see sunshine!" It was the first sincere feeling and thought that came to my mind when she came into my sight. That's just one small example of how we percieved her- smiling, hopeful, positive & always helpful. What are the best words to describe a much loved person? I know that I shall fall short of and all that her family and close friends can produce. What I know and can say is she was a beautiful spirit, a wonderful nurse, loved by many, and she will be missed by all. My sympathies to her children and family, you are in my prayers...

I worked with Nancy in the Trauma unit at UAMS. I consider her a comrade in arms. We learned much from Nancy. Both in her nursing abilities and her caring nature. To know that are people out here that loved her as much as we did cannot be put into enough words of gratitiude and appreciation. Our Angel has left this earth to be our Angel in heaven. She was a true inspiration to everyone she graced and she will be missed dearly.

What can I say but my Aunt Nancy was a beautiful, courageous, and honest person. You knew who it was when she walked in the room. From her loud mouth to her laugh that oh so funny. She was the type of person that held her head up high and didn't let anyone bring her down. I hate that I won't see her anymore and to hear those same words come out her mouth, " Niece don't ever let anyone say your not beautiful or you can't do anything, because they don't know what you capable of with you chocolate self." May she rest in peace and hopefully one day I will hear those words spoken again. Wow. ;(

Words could never express how much it meant having you in my life. You were so much more than a friend, more like a sister. We've laughed together and even cried together. You were a major source of support and encouragement. You always knew what to say or what to do. It is so hard to imagine life without you, the idea that we will never work, shop, or eat together is so hard for me to process. We spent a lot of time together and I am so blessed to have gained your friendship and to have had you in my life. I will miss our seemingly endless phone conversations and all the laughter we shared. There will always be a special place in my heart for you and I know no one will ever compare to you Nancy. I love you and I thank you for allowing me into your life and I will forever miss you.

    Love,
    Michelle

Nancy....the memories we share beginning at Drew Memorial. The times before I could call myself a nurse. You were one of the few nurses that always had my back and encouraged me to pursue a nursing career and I have never regretted it. I owe alot of my success to you as well as many others. We recently reconnected at UAMS and it was such a blessing to have seen you after so many years. You will be greatly missed. I know you are in a better place watching over us nurses and making sure we continue on as you would want us to. Love Always.

Nancy was an "all people" nurse. I first met Nancy many years ago, when she was a CNA at Leisure Lodge NH where both my parents were residents there. We watched her as she bettered her medical profession and became an RN. and she was also a very dear friend to us. And it was because SHE CARED. Nancy, until we meet again, I miss you and we love you.
