Ruby is at home now, so happy and healthy. Ruby was a joy to visit with, always smiling and happy to see you. She did wonders for the Drew Memorial Gift Shop. I always looked forward to looking at the treasures she found in an estate sale. My greatest sympathy to all her family. I have had her in my prayers every night -- now maybe she will pray for me. Wish I could be there for her funeral but bad health prevents it. God Bless.

Over the years,Ms. Ruby was a customer in my antique shop and became a good friend! She was a special lady and a true southern lady! I will always remember her and Mr Lee and the visits that we enjoyed ! I have a short poem that Lee wrote about me and my shop, that I wouldn't take anything for. I met their sons and grandson several times and my thoughts go out to her family and thank you for being so good to your mom and dad! You will never regret it! God Bless you boys !

Jerry, David and Family, I will be praying for you all in the days ahead. Mrs. Ruby was so special in so many ways. I will always cherish the afternoon I spent with her at her house looking at her carnival glass and all of her other beautiful things and hearing the stories that went with them. It meant alot to me to be invited to share it with her. She will be missed.

David and family.... What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived and that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. I remember your Mom and Dad with fondness and they were always a joy to be around. We made a lot of good memories at Second Baptist. May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead. I am praying for you and your loved ones. Love ya, Sue
